Player handbook

Six college picks, five NFL, every week. Takes about a minute.

Getting in

You join from a link the commissioner shares. Enter your real name, pick any username you like, and set a password.

Your username is what you sign in with — not your name, not an email. The site shows it to you when you join and your browser will offer to save it. Write it down if you're not sure.

If you can't sign back in It's almost always the username. Your phone may have saved something you typed into a "save password" prompt instead of your real username. Ask the commissioner — they can see your username and send you a reset link.

Making picks

The Picks tab lists every game with a posted line. Each game gives you four options:

OptionYou win if
+7.5The underdog loses by 7 or fewer — or wins outright.
−7.5The favorite wins by 8 or more.
Over 47.5Both teams combined score 48 or more.
Under 47.5Both teams combined score 47 or fewer.

Tap to pick, tap again to undo. The counters at the top track how many you have, and the bars fill as you go. Every pick saves the moment you tap it — you can leave and come back.

Once you're at the limit, tapping another option does nothing. Undo one first.

Finding a game

A college week can carry hundreds of lines, so the board has a search box, filters, and a sort:

The buy-in Until the commissioner marks you paid, a Pay button sits at the top of your Picks tab. It opens Venmo with the amount and recipient already filled in. Once you're marked paid it disappears.

Submitting

When you're happy, hit Submit. You'll see exactly what you're turning in, as a checklist, confirm, and land on your Mine tab.

Submitting commits those picks Once submitted, a pick is locked and you can't change it yourself. Only the commissioner can. Check before you confirm.
You can submit a partial slate Made a game you're not ready to lock in — say a Saturday pick you're still deciding on, sitting next to a Friday game about to kick off? Uncheck it in the Submit dialog and it stays selected on the board, still yours to change, while the rest go in. Or just leave slots empty and fill and submit those later. The button always tells you how many are waiting to go in.

What the site enforces

RuleHow it works
KickoffEach game closes at its own kickoff, not a weekly deadline. Late games stay open after early ones close.
Times are yoursKickoffs show in your own time zone, with the zone named — Sat 8/29 · 12:00 PM EDT. A game in Denver reads 10:00 AM MDT and in New York 12:00 PM EDT: same moment, your clock. Games lock at that instant for everyone at once, wherever they are.
The Chris RuleYou can't take both sides of the same spread or total.
Locked linesThe board publishes once, Tuesday morning, then holds still for the rest of the week. Everyone picks from the same numbers the whole time.
No-showsMissed picks score as losses, applied once every game that week is final.
Submit or it doesn't countA pick you made but never submitted does not score. Once its game kicks off it is a no-show, the same as leaving the slot empty.
Buy-inIf the commissioner has turned this on, Submit is blocked until you've paid — you can still browse the board and make picks, just not lock them in. Use the Pay button on the Picks tab.

Results and standings

Results appear on their own — nobody grades anything by hand. Your Mine tab shows each pick with W, L or T, and a week dropdown for looking back. Each pick is also tagged Submitted or Not submitted — you can hit Submit right from this tab too, so it's a good place to check you didn't leave anything sitting unsubmitted. Copy picks puts your slate on the clipboard as plain text, to share outside the app.

Standings ranks everyone by win percentage, with total wins as the first tiebreaker. A push counts as half a win. Players who match on both share a rank — two people tied for 3rd both show #3, and whoever's next is #5, not #4. Top three carry 🥇 🥈 🥉, so a tie for gold means no silver is handed out. There's a second board for the four-person teams, and a toggle to show real names or usernames.

Tap anyone's name — on the rankings board, a post, or a reply — to open their profile: their record, every badge they've earned, and — once the commissioner reveals the week — what they picked. Until then, everyone's current-week picks stay private except their own.

The math win % = (wins + 0.5 × pushes) ÷ total picks

Badges

The site notices things — going undefeated in a week, an ugly 0-fer, a hot or cold streak, never missing a pick all season — and proposes a badge. The commissioner reviews every one before it's visible, so a badge showing up on someone's profile or in the Talk tab's achievements strip has already been signed off.

A few are awarded by hand rather than earned automatically — the commissioner's discretion for a one-off moment that doesn't fit a formula.

Talk

The Talk tab is the league's message board. Anyone can start a post — it needs a title and some text — and anyone can reply to anyone else's.

Open a post to react — 🔥 💩 ❤️ 🫡 🥱 😂, at the bottom under the reply box. One reaction each: tapping a different emoji swaps yours, tapping the one you picked takes it back. Counts show on the post and on the feed.

You can edit or delete your own posts and replies at any time. Deleting a post takes its replies with it. The commissioner can remove anything, which is the only moderation there is.
